My name is Hussain Ahamad, and I am currently living in a Rohingya refugee camp. I want to share my story regarding my wife’s health. She has been suffering from an illness for over a decade, more than 12 years. I have done everything I can to help her regain her health and have spent a lot of money on her treatment, but I can no longer afford hospital check-ups.
When I take her to the hospital for tests, the doctors inform us that there is no medicine available for her condition. I have even tried to obtain medications from outside sources, but I can no longer afford them either. As a result, I am now left in a difficult situation, as I am also becoming unwell.
According to the doctor’s reports, my wife has the following issues:
- Heart problems
- Reduced spinal health
- Allergies and gastritis
- High blood pressure
I have been able to provide her with some medications in the past, but now I am unable to continue doing so. I am appealing to the world for help. If there is a way for you to provide these medications either in the hospital or within the camp, it would mean the world to us. It would greatly help not only my wife but many others who are sick and in need of recovery. This support is incredibly important to us.
Thank you very much.
