Eight Women Among Victims Killed in Targeted Airstrike by Myanmar Junta

On May 13, at around 10 a.m., the military junta’s air force carried out an airstrike on Tun Ra Way Ywar Houng village in Rathedaung Township, resulting in the deaths of ten civilians, including eight women.

Among the deceased women was a two-year-old girl.

In addition, out of the 20 people injured, 13 were women, including four girls under the age of 18.

According to the people of Arakan, the Myanmar’s military junta deliberately targeted civilians in the airstrike, resulting in mass casualties and injuries among the civilian population.

Villagers also reported that many homes were destroyed during the deliberate airstrike.

Below is the list of deceased and injured women.
