I am appealing to the people of the world about the difficult situation we are facing in the Rohingya refugee camps regarding the graveyards. When someone from our family dies, we cannot keep the body for long, nor can we leave it outside. According to our religious beliefs, we must bury the body as soon as possible.
However, when we go to the graveyard, we often spend more than an hour just searching for an empty space because it is so overcrowded. Sometimes, when we start digging, we find that someone is already buried there, and we have to search for another place. Even when we do find a spot, it may be very far away in another graveyard and even those are almost full.
Therefore, we are urgently requesting the international community to help us by arranging more burial space. This support would be a great help to us during our most difficult times.
